Mentor Bios
Yanbing Li is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of executive experience in telecom and IT. Most recently serving as Regional Vice President, she led global teams to deliver groundbreaking technology solutions and drive operational excellence. As President of DFWIT, Yanbing oversees a community of more than 200 IT professionals, championing AI competitions, mentorship programs, and incubation initiatives to foster innovation and professional growth. Guided by her deep industry expertise and passion for mentorship, Yanbing is committed to expanding DFWIT’s reach and elevating opportunities for IT professionals across the region.
Julia Liang is a digital transformation leader with expertise in fintech, AI, cloud, and enterprise technology. As SVP, Head of Commercial Leasing Engineering at PNC, she leads the development of an automated lending platform that enhances customer experience and efficiency. She played a pivotal role in implementing a technology finance solution for one of the ‘Magnificent 7’ companies. Julia is also the Founder of DFW IT Association and the IT Talent Champion Competition, initiatives dedicated to developing IT talent and fostering innovation. She holds an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School and is passionate about leveraging AI to transform FinTech and EdTech.
Experienced, battle-tested, and hands-on technical lead with many years of team management and architecture design, and over 25 years of overall software development experience. Proven track record across a wide range of projects—big and small, successful and failed—gaining deep end-to-end expertise in software development and delivery.
LinkedIn Bo Gu is a Director of Data Science & Generative AI at AT&T’s Chief Data Office, where he leads the development and implementation of generative AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency across call centers. He also oversees a segment of the internal “Create and Deploy AI” platform, designed to empower data scientists, citizen data scientists (CDS), and business analysts (BA). Prior to joining AT&T, Bo held leadership roles in data science and analytics at Caesars Entertainment and PepsiCo and founded a SaaS startup in China. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Beihang University, a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Bo is actively involved in the Asian community, serving as the Membership & Engagement Officer for InspirAsian National and as a past president of the DFW IT Association. He resides in Allen, Texas, with his wife, Rose, and their 9-year-old son, Brandon.
